Often, people will be rude to you. You may not like it, but dealing with things you don't like is a large part of growing up, and you always have to trust your gut and be mature when it comes to friends. If somebody is making fun of you, friend or not- you need it to stop. No matter if it's about your clothes, teeth, hair or shoes,- it's just plain RUDE! But always remember, two wrongs NEVER make a right! So just don't be rude back! You just need to stand up for yourself. For instance, if someone says " Your shirt is HIDEOUS!" Don't say "YOU'RE HIDEOUS!" What you would say is " Hey, I like my style. I don't care much about fashion,  just comfort." Or "I don't think so. It's cool and I like it, that's all that matters.
